katakana which is the standard way names are translated to Japanese.
Katakana symbols are like letters and have no meaning - they strictly translate the pronunciation of the name. Japanese is written horizontally and vertically and both are correct.
The download options include all three fonts shown. The translation is the same for each, only the font is different. We simply want you to have a choice when you ink the design.
