Dog (inu)

Dog in Japanese is 犬 which is read inu. The Japanese word inu means "dog" referring to "man's best friend". This kanji is not used in the Japanese Zodiac, so if you are looking for "Year of the Dog" for a design then consider using Year of the Dog (inudoshi).
